01 Discovery

Research

The journey began with research, similar to diving into a treasure trove of knowledge. I explored top charity websites like Human Appeal, Penny Appeal, and even the United Nations. We also reached out to the real experts - the users themselves. This research helped us fine-tune our UX design strategy, much like adapting a recipe for the best possible outcome. The result? A website that spoke to the users and encouraged engagement.

Affinity Map

Our trusty affinity map became our guiding star. We sorted through user feedback to find pain points like a detective solving a mystery. This helped us identify the issues - the complicated donation process and the need for clear information. Users craved engaging visuals and straightforward content, much like a good book that's easy to understand. Armed with these insights, we set out to transform the website into a user-friendly space.

Journey Map

Next, we embarked on a journey to understand the user experience on the old Dayax Foundation website. We found pain points, much like exploring a maze and discovering hidden traps. The old website lacked user-centric design, causing frustration for both users and the client. But our journey mapping revealed these flaws, paving the way for a user-focused redesign. The result? A revamped website that recorded a 60% increase in user sessions and a fantastic 45% rise in completed donations. It was a tangible demonstration of our analytical skills in action.

Low-Fidelity

High-Fidelity

High-fidelity mockups allowed us to translate design concepts into a tangible user interface, much like bringing a blueprint to life. These mockups weren't just pictures; they were tools for usability testing. They helped us identify potential improvements, demonstrating our attention to detail. Allowing us to iterate the prototypes until it was ready to launch.

Development

But our journey didn't end with design; we had to ensure a seamless transition for users when they were redirected to the payment page. Consistency in layout and design elements was key. This approach provided users with a familiar and uninterrupted experience, resulting in a substantial 40% increase in donations.

Engaging with CTAs
